PROJECT COORDINATOR / DESIGNER
LOCATED IN SAN JOSE, CA  |  FULL-TIME 

This position is for an entry level and/or junior level design professional who is able to self-start on commercial interior design projects. This position requires a great deal of collaboration with other team members within the office, therefore creativity, independent thinking and the ability to communicate ideas both verbally and graphically are a must. Additionally, this is a flexible position that allows the candidate freedom to explore different career paths within the design field while directly contributing to active projects on a daily basis.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of one to three years of professional experience (internship or related field)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited university

  • Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and/or other modeling skills are a requirement as well as basic Microsoft Office programs including; Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Adobe program skills such as Photoshop and Illustrator are desired

  • A working knowledge of construction drawings, details and interior specifications and products are also required

  • Pursuit of the NCARB, NCIDQ, CID and/or LEED-CI exams and accreditations are part of continuing education expectations

Our studio’s design focus is commercial office, technology and retail design as well as the occasional building and site renovation project.
