ARIBA
HEADQUARTERS
Following a decentralization, Ariba was prepared to downsize their existing space and incorporate a new operations center for their Silicon Valley engineering group. The selected location was an 86,000 square foot, 2-story existing R&D building in Sunnyvale. As lead consultant, Steve proposed to downsize workstations from 8x8 to 6x8; the resulting implementation netted a 30% increase in collaborative and conference spaces. The efficiency move also allowed for a new 100-seat café, a fitness room and a training center. State-of-the-art video conferencing technologies were integrated throughout the open office for improved communications with international business partners.
